In the midst of sweeping global changes, many of us are looking for reliable insight into re-orienting our perspective and lifestyle to foster clarity and peacefulness. Traditional cultures have long understood the nature of existence and the relevance of every aspect of life toward the well-being of the whole. We will draw on ancient literature, e.g., the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, to garner a glimpse of our human capacity to navigate the waves of everyday life with the help of timeless principles such as non-harming, truthfulness, patience, compassion and non-greed.
